JIK: Jurnal Ilmu Komputer adalah jurnal ilmiah yang memuat tulisan penelitian dan non penelitian dalam bidang ilmu Komputer, yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Pengelola Jurnal Ilmiah UEU. Jurnal ini terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Juni dan Desember. Jurnal Ilmu Komputer sebagai wadah karya ilmiah para dosen dalam memgimplementasikan dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian (kualitatitif, kuantitatif dan mixing) berdasarkan proses studi literasi, experimental dan yang pendanaan diperoleh secara mandiri, hibah internal maupun eksternal. Publikasi karya ilmiah sebagai salah satu unsur tridharma perguruang tinggi di lingkungan Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Esa Unggul dan sangat terbuka untuk kalangan dosen PTN/PTS di luar komunitas civitas akademika UEU. Abstract

Salah satu cara yang dapat ditempuh adalah dengan mengkoordinasikan segala bentuk implementasi Teknologi Informasi (TI), yang dilakukan diIndonesia. Abstract

Linux Operating System which growing rapidly this day start to attract many people, especially academic and proffesionals in computer's world. Many things which make Linux more attractive is the open source's characteristic, which mean its application is freely available to everyone. In fact, we can get the source code easily, and the. stabilize as an operating system getting admission to many society. Linux also can maike a connection between modem, even internet. Linux also support the client-server system. Therefore, Local Area Network system can use only one modem as the connection for many computers to go through the internet. Point to point protocol is one of the protocols which used to do the connection to the internet or LAN, because of a lot of things its provided easily, especially the installation and the used of it.Kata Kunci :  point to point protocol. unite, client-server.

Abstract

Diawal abad ke 21 ini, Informasi sangat berperanan penting di segala bidang. Era internet merupakan salah satu contoh produk informasi yang merubah cara hidup kita. Sejalan dengan perkembangan informasi, bidang telekomunikasi GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) pun berkembang dengan pesat. Orang-orang membutuhkan informasi tidak hanya ketika berada di depan komputer saja, tetapi informasi dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun. Oleh karena.itu kebutuhan akses ke internet melalui telepon selular menjadi impian. Kolaborasi antara tiga perushaan telekomunikasi terbesar di dunia Ericsson, Motorola dan Nokia menciptakan standar protokol aplikasi nirkabel atau di kenal dengan WAP (Wireless Application Protocol). WAP menjadi pilihan pertama di dalam menyebarkan informasi, komunikasi, berita aktual, harga saham dan masih banyak lagi. Telepon selular adalah perangkat yang paling tepat untuk menehma informasi secara cepat.Kata kunci : Global System for Mobile Communication / GSM, Wwireless Application Protocol (WAP)

Abstract

Natural Language processing is a topic intensely discussed in computer science nowdays. The term natural language is used to represent common human language because in computer science there are other classifications of language, such as programming language, formal language, etc. Researches in natural language area have given the computer ability to understand human language (in a certain level) and to translate between one natural language to another natural language. There are many unstructured aspects should be considered so that good rules could be applied by the computer in order to make good translation or understanding. These unstructured aspects could not be solved by mere conventional computer science concepts. There are new concepts in computer science could be used to gain good unstructured problem solving. These concepts are artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, object oriented, hypertext, and neural networks. The growth of hardware capability also giving good support to the unstructured problems found in natural language. This research is intended to analyze and to apply recent concepts discussed above, to solve natural language processing problems, especially in natural language translation, in this case, English to IndonesianKata Kunci : Language, Strutural Language, Unstruktural language

It’s better for the development project information system adapt System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology in designing or establishing a system. This methodology is good to be implemented whether in a large or small case system. Manny different and the requirements. The use of life cycle will make the work developer much more easier so that they will be able to produce a good system or software.
